We found a trail ride opportunity at Fish Lake where Ken could fish while I rode. The ride was truly a wilderness ride. Up the mountain to the summit above the tree line looking over Fish Lake, and on the back side, the other mountains & lakes. We were high enough to find snow. Horses are free range and some of the guides horses came wandering in to water at the lake. If they wander into the mountains, it may take him 2 days to find them. Usually they come up at feeding time. Really rugged terrain and climbing. Ian was my guide and it was just the two of us.
