July 3, we fished the late afternoon after we got to the lake on July 2. It was cold and a bit windy after the heavy rain and hail that came down right after we arrived. We caught a few pike and got to see the lake. The next morning it was absolutely beautiful and Ken made an excellent fishing guide. The views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife were wonderful. The water was so clear we could see the fish swimming. Pike may not be really big, but they do really like to fight and splash. Ken caught several really large pike. I fished a lot too and fishing is really tiring work, as you can see I needed a rest.
That's the way to stretch out for a little nap. :)
