June 3, we arrived at Broken Arrow RV and Horse campground in the Black Hills of South Dakota. That night it became misty and dreary and the mountains disappeared and temperatures in the 50's. Weather improved so Ken and I enjoyed a 2 hour horseback ride from Bluebell Lodge stables through beautiful mountains, crossing numerous rocky creeks and watching wildlife; had to detour from the trail because the buffalo refused to move. Ken's horse, Big Jon, made him look like a jockey.
